My name is Kourtney and I am the owner of Kourtney Rice Fitness. I was always very active growing up and played a good bit of sports. After starting a family, I struggled with the motivation to be active and struggled with my body image. I desperately wanted to change that feeling and did not know where to start. I got a gym membership and told myself I would go, but once I got in the gym I was terrified to workout in front of others. I felt so intimidated by all the strong men and women working out and did not want to be seen working out next to them. This derailed any progress I wished to accomplish. I slowly started to learn how to fuel my body and built up my confidence by learning the correct ways to exercise. After learning how to care for my body and falling back in love with being active again I knew this is what I was called to do. So many women have this same fear. I became a coach to help women move their body more without the fear of working out in a gym. I want to help women skip the fad diets and quick fixes and find the sustainable lifestyle that works best.
My goal is to provide women with the tools they need to surpass that fear, build confidence, and keep moving forward to a healthy lifestyle.
